FERRIDAY – Funeral services for Contina Sanders–Milligan, 51, of Ferriday, LA, who passed on Aug. 8, 2024, at her residence, will be at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2024, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Ferriday, LA.

Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Contina Sanders Milligan was born on Sept. 22, 1972, in Alexandria, LA, the daughter of John and Judith Sanders Young.

She is preceded in death by her mother.

Contina leaves her loving memories to her husband, Mark Milligan; one son, Troy King, Jr., of Ferriday; one step-son, Defonte Leonard, of Cartersville, GA; one daughter, Shikira Sanders, of Natchez; three step-daughters, Marquita Robinson, Martika Robinson, both of Ferriday, LA, and Markeitha Leonard, of Cartersville, GA; two sisters, Makisha Young, and Ericka Barnes, and her husband, Andrew, all of Natchez; three grandchildren; ten uncles and aunts; a host of other relatives and friends.
