VIDALIA – A Celebration of Life for J. Kyle Greer, 66, of Lake Concordia will be held Monday, July 22, 2024, at the Bryant O. Hammett Convention Center in Vidalia, LA. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. and the Celebration of Life will begin at 11 a.m. The service will be conducted by Russell Wagoner.

Kyle was born in Ferriday on Oct. 30, 1957, to James Greer and Greta Dickerson.

Kyle graduated from Monterey High School and Louisiana Tech University with a degree in Petroleum Engineering Technology. He worked in the petroleum industry until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Kyle is survived by his wife, Jane Power Greer; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Power; daughter, Jamie Greer (boyfriend, William Barnes), and granddaughter, Jetty McClain who lovingly and appropriately called him “Bear.” He is also survived by brother, Conley Greer; sister-in-law, Betsy Sawyer (boyfriend, Wayne Pilgreen); sister-in-law, Anne Donnarumma (Fabrizio); nephews, Jeremy Greer (Autumn), Morgan Greer, Michael Sawyer (Christy), David Sawyer (Crystal) and William Donnarumma; niece, Emily Bodiford (Grover), and a grandniece, grandnephews and cousins.
