Mrs. Anderson was born on Dec. 14, 1944, in Brookhaven, MS the daughter of Lonnie Ray Winborne and Darkis Mary Smith Winborne. Little did they know she would grow to be such a devoted daughter, wife, mother, and Nana. She was one of the most caring individuals in the world and meant the world to her family, especially her loving husband, David, and her sons, Michael and Tony.

Like her favorite flower, the magnolia, she took her time blossoming and when she did, she was a magnificent beauty who left the world in awe. She graduated from Natchez High School in 1963, her yearbook quote, “She was a shy and quiet lass.” She attended Cosmetology School until 1964 and married David Anderson on May 22, 1964. He was truly the love of her life and their marriage was as strong after 60 years as it was from the day they said I do. Their marriage; and growing family made her bloom. The more her family grew, the more outgoing she became, she was no longer shy, nor quiet.

She was always a devout Christian, willing to share her faith with anyone who would listen. She was a member of Covington Road Church of Christ when she lived in Natchez and is currently a member of Hillcrest Church of Christ in Springfield, TN.

Patricia had a huge heart and was always taking care of others. Her husband, children, and grandchildren can all attest to how much she spoiled them. They loved her cooking the most, and she always made sure she would make each of their favorite desserts for holiday occasions. She loved watching her grandchildren and later helping with a daycare program called Mom’s Day Out. When her parents’ health started to decline, she moved them to Tennessee where she diligently cared for them until their passing. Most notably, she called her loved ones daily to check on them and tell them how she and David were doing, and what she found at the Goodwill. For those who knew and loved her, they will miss her daily calls.
