NATCHEZ – Funeral services for Tony Eland Shelton, 59, of Natchez, who departed this earthly life on Sunday, June 23, 2024, in Baton Rouge will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 10 a.m. at West Gate Funeral Home (George F. West, Sr. Memorial Chapel) with Pastor David Greene officiating.

Burial will follow at the Vidalia City Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Tony was born June 8, 1965, the son of Betty Jean Shelton and Vergil Lee Shelton. He attended Vidalia High School and was self-employed.

He is preceded in death by his father and grandmother, Leanna Hooper.

Tony leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Betty J. Shelton; brothers, Donald Hooper, Arnald Hooper (Sharon), Kelvin Shelton, William Shelton (Niecey), and Virgil Shelton; sister, Carol Davis; and a host of other relatives and friends.
