NATCHEZ – Funeral Services for James Albert Holmes, 69, of Natchez, MS who died June 11, 2024, will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Tracy Cusic, officiating.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m., on Friday, at Bateaste Memorial Funeral Services Chapel.

Burial will follow at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery under the directions of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Services.

Mr. Holmes was born on June 22, 1954, the sone of Edwin and Edna Holmes Sr.

He was employed as a USDA Grain Inspector and he was a Baptist.

Mr. Holmes was a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. He enjoyed gardening, carpentry and coin collecting.

He is preceded in death by his mother, wife, brothers, and grandparents.

Mr. Holmes is survived by his daughter, Ashley Holmes; son, Ja Corian Holmes; eight grandchildren; one goddaughter, Kennitra Griffin and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
