NATCHEZ – Funeral services for Brandon James Ford, 42, of Richmond, TX, formerly of Natchez, who departed this earthly life on Friday, May 31, 2024, in Richmond, TX will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 11 a.m. at New Beginnings Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Roderic Lewis officiating.

Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Brandon was born Sept. 22, 1991, in Natchez, the son of Joan Turner-Clark and Curtis Ford. He was a 2000 graduate of Natchez High School and furthered his education at Universal Technical Institute in Houston, TX, and CDI Trucking School in Saucier, MS. Brandon was a truck driver. He enjoyed hunting, cooking, reading, and “game night” with his family in Texas.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Beatrice Bobbie Turner and Jessie and Louvenia Ford; aunt, Versia Rae Turner; uncles, Arthur Turner and Cleveland Ford; brother, Curtis Ford, Jr. and godparents, Louis and Beatrice Arbuthnot.

Brandon leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Cencellia Washington Ford; son, Terrell James Ford; parents, Joan Turner-Clark and Curtis Ford; step-daughters, Timika Smith (Johnathan) and Shonta Washington; sister, Andrea “Recie” Ford; mother-in-law, Mary L. Washington; aunt, Ardene Wright (Melvin); uncles, James Turner, Jr. and Jessie Turner; special friend, Karlas Gales; special nephew, Kedric Bobby Ford and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
