VIDALIA, La. — Two people are in hospitals following an early morning incident outside the Dodge Store between Vidalia and Ferriday, authorities said.

Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office received a call at approximately 1:40 a.m. from a caller stating that multiple shots were fired outside store.

One person was shot and transported to a local hospital and another person, who sustained injuries after being hit by a car, was transported to a hospital in Alexandria.

The condition of both individuals is unknown at this time. The initial investigation revealed that multiple suspects fired shots outside of the store.
