NATCHEZ – Funeral services for Dexter “Dee” Wright, 36, of Natchez, MS, who passed away on May 13, 2024, at his residence, will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Natchez at 11 a.m. with Pastor Melvin White officiating under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mealy Family Cemetery.

Visitation services will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, from 3 until 5 p.m. at Marshall Funeral Home Chapel and again on Thursday, May 23, 2024, from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Dexter was born July 3, 1986, in Centreville, MS to Jimmy Dale Walker and Audrey Jean Mealy Wright.

He is preceded in death by grandparents, Lula Mae Mealy and Horace James Mealy; and one uncle, Norris James Mealy.

Dexter leaves to cherish his memories, five children, Dexter Wright Jr., D’Asia Wright, Kimora Caston, Kelis Caston, and Kas’jah Paz; his mother, Audrey Jean Mealy Wright; his father, Jimmy Dale Walker; and a host of other relatives and friends.
