Responding to a line of string storms that moved through the area Monday morning, knocking out power for some and downing tree limbs on roadways, local school officials have made some adjustments and accommodations to their school day.

Officials at Cathedral School in Natchez have announced.a delayed schedule for the school day. School for students will start at 9 a.m. The school emailed a delayed start schedule to parents and staff.

Adams County Christian School will start at 8 a.m. but will make accommodations for students who are delayed due to the weather.
