NATCHEZ – Memorial services for Gloria Ann Baldwin Dottery, 71, of Tampa, FL, formerly of Natchez, who departed this earthly life on Sunday, April 21, 2024, in Tampa, will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 11 a.m. at West Gate Funeral Home (George F. West, Sr. Memorial Chapel) with Pastor LeRoy White officiating.

Services under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Gloria was born March 10, 1953, in Natchez, the daughter of Jimmie and Frances Baldwin. She was a 1971 graduate of South Natchez Adams High School and attended BOCEES College of Nursing in Verona, New York. She was retired from Bordeaux Long Term Care Facility in Nashville, TN after 20 years of service. Mrs. Dottery was a member of the Catholic Church. Gloria enjoyed collecting tea pots and bells from various states and countries she visited.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Drew Pierson Dottery, Jr.; brothers, Michael Baldwin and Tommie Lee Baldwin and brothers-in-law, Charles and Matthew Dottery.

Gloria leaves to cherish her memories: her husband of 53 years, Drew Pierson Dottery, Sr., daughters, Vanessa Norfleet (Barry) and Debra Brown (Malcom); five sisters, Pamela Plummer (Robert), Patricia Jones, Connie Evans (Ondra), Janet Bates (Mark) and Monica Jackson (Gallergiar); four brothers, Jimmie Lee Baldwin (Cheroyl), Cornelius Baldwin (Lori), Alvin Louis Baldwin (Ora) and Patrick Baldwin (Delihia); sisters-in-law, Clara Anderson (James) and Bonita Woods; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.
