Bebbye, as she was affectionately called by her grandchildren and many family members, was at her best when with family. Bebbye hosted large family gatherings for every holiday which were always joyous occasions filled with love, laughter, and plenty of food. She was an excellent cook and well known for her cornbread dressing, potato casserole, strawberry cake, and lemon ice box pie. While food was plentiful, Bebbye made the events about the family and her definition of family extended well beyond
blood relatives. Her spirit will live on in the family gatherings and the love she built to keep her family together. Bebbye was loved by many and will be missed dearly by her family and our community.
