FAYETTE – Funeral services for Mary Lee Moore, 91, of Natchez, who departed this earthly life on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, in Vidalia will be held Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Rosehill Baptist Church #1 in Fayette with Rev. Dr. Ernest Ford, Jr. officiating.
Burial will be held on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at New Chapel Cemetery with a visitation from 10 until 11 a.m. at Good Hope Baptist Church, both located in Pulaski, MS under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024, from 6 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home and will continue on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
Mary was born March 30, 1933, in Smith County, the daughter of Ruby Kersh Mayers and William Mayers. Mrs. Moore was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. She enjoyed attending church services, cooking, shopping, and missionary work.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Marion Moore; son, Troy Moore; parents, William and Ruby Mayers; godparents, Mr. and Mrs. Willie Keys, and godbrother, Greg Keys.
Mary leaves to cherish her memories: two sons, Ellis Moore, Jr. and Hilton Moore; three daughters, Janice Moore, Sharon Gail Moore, and Wendy Bradley; grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
