LIVE RESULTS: Ward 4 too close to call; Davis takes lead in Ward 5

NATCHEZ – Unofficial results for Ward 4 show the race too close to call at this point.
Initial precinct totals showed incumbent Felicia Bridgewater-Irving with 216 votes and challenger Michael Calcote with 219. There are 56 absentee votes outstanding.
In Ward 5, incumbent Benjamin Davis led challenger Jamar White, 78 to 67, with absentee ballots to be counted. We are working to confirm the number of remaining absentee ballots.
Davis, who was on-hand at the Adams County Safe Room as results were announced, said he plans to “continue doing my job.”
Ward 1 Alderman Valencia Hall won re-election on Tuesday.
Hall defeated challenger Larry E. Hooper Jr. 266 to 206 in unofficial results, with 54 absentee votes outstanding.
We are still awaiting results in Ward 4 and Ward 5.
Mayor Dan Gibson, Municipal Judge Christina Daugherty and Ward 2 Alderman Billie Joe Frazier, Ward 3 Alderman Sarah Carter Smith, and Ward 6 Alderman Curtis Moroney were unopposed in the primary.
