NATCHEZ – Ward 1 Alderman Valencia Hall won re-election on Tuesday.

Hall defeated challenger Larry E. Hooper Jr. 266 to 206 in unofficial results.

“I am very pleased with the votes from the citizens of Ward 1,” she said. “I’m looking forward to four more years of serving and accomplishing more for the citizens of Natchez.”

We are still awaiting results in Ward 4 and Ward 5.

Mayor Dan Gibson, Municipal Judge Christina Daugherty and Ward 2 Alderman Billie Joe Frazier, Ward 3 Alderman Sarah Carter Smith, and Ward 6 Alderman Curtis Moroney were unopposed in the primary.
