NATCHEZ – A Natchez teen completes her reign as Miss Mississippi Teen USA tonight.

“Today we crown the girl I have been thinking of since the very day I was crowned,” Claire Ulmer said in a social media post. “I cannot wait to meet you.”

Ulmer, the daughter of Billy and Leah Pope Ulmer of Natchez, won the Miss Mississippi Teen USA title in April 2023, competing with more than 30 teens for the title while she was still a high school senior.

During the course of the year, she has represented the state in the Miss Teen USA competition and spent hours traveling and engaging with people throughout the state.

“Leading Mississippi has truly been the best gift God has given me,” Ulmer said. “I will not stop telling the story I got to create over the last year. I love you Mississippi. Thank you.”
