Alleged child molester from Vidalia in custody

VIDALIA, La. — A Vidalia man who allegedly molested two juveniles was taken into custody Thursday in LaSalle Parish.
On Feb. 22, Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office Child Exploitation Unit began investigating the allegations of two juveniles who said Dustin Wayne Mullins, 31, of Vidalia, had touched them in a sexual manner on numerous occasions.
After conducting forensic interviews with both children, detectives also interviewed Mullins, who reportedly confessed to the allegations.
He was taken into custody by the LaSalle Parish Sheriff’s Office without incident and will be transported to the CPSO jail.
Currently, he is charged with two counts of molestation of a juvenile and indecent behavior with juveniles.
