NATCHEZ– Funeral services for Shelia Ann Jones, 65, of Natchez, who departed this earthly life on Thursday, March 14, 2024, in Natchez, will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Greater Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Rev. Reynolds and Rev. Raymond Riley officiating.

Burial will follow at the Wilderness Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024, from 4:30 until 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home and will continue on Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 1 p.m. until the time of service at the church.

Shelia was born March 26, 1958, in Natchez, the daughter of Clara Mae Jones and AD Jones, Jr. She was a 1976 graduate of North Natchez High School and a graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College. She was employed with Borum Family Health Clinic.

Ms. Jones was a member of the Wilderness Missionary Baptist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, shopping, dancing, and spending time with family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ray Charles Jones; and her grandparents, AD and Effie Jones.

Shelia leaves to cherish her memories: her son, Tery T. Jones; granddaughter, Taylin Jones; brother, Glenn Jones; sisters, Carolyn Jones Oliver and Rachel Gibson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
