NATCHEZ — An 18-wheeler tractor-trailer carrying a load of bees overturned in front of Merit Health Natchez just after midnight Monday.

Natchez Police Department officers and officials from Adams County Emergency Management Agency responded to the scene. Some of the bees did get loose during the incident.

The owner of the bees dispatched a bee company from Woodville to Natchez to gather the loose bees, officials said.

AMR Ambulance responded to the scene in the event of injuries, but none were reported.
