DALLAS, TX- Funeral service for Standard Clark, Jr., 73, of Dallas, formerly of Natchez, who departed this earthly life on Saturday, March 2, 2024, in Dallas will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 12:30 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home in Dallas, TX.

Standard was born Jan. 7, 1951, in Church Hill, MS, the son of Thelma Clark Green and Standard Clark, Sr. He was a 1969 graduate of Sadie V. Thompson High School and a 1973 graduate of Jackson State University. Standard was retired from International Paper Company. As a youth, he attended Union Baptist Church. His hobbies were upholstering, building picture frames and he was very stylish.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Larry Clark, Sr.

Standard leaves to cherish his memories: sons, Cortez R. Thomas and Charles A. Thomas; daughters, Tshana Williams and Roslyn Satchell; brothers, Carl Clark of Natchez, Frank Clark of Nacogdoches, TX and James Clark of Natchez; sisters, Joanna Talford of Corcoran, Ca, Cynthia Herring of Sugarland, TX and Essie Jefferies (Eugene) of Las Vegas, NV, other relatives and friends.
