NATCHEZ – Funeral services for Thelma Elizabeth Williams Wade, 66, of Natchez, who passed away on Monday, Feb. 26, 2024, at her residence; will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at 1 p.m. at Marshall Funeral Home Chapel under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation services will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 3 until 5 p.m. at the Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Natchez and on Sunday, March 10, 2024, from noon until the service time at the Chapel.

Thelma was born on July 8, 1957, to Leroy Williams and Margurite Williams. At an early age, Thelma was baptized. Thelma graduated from Ponchatoula High School in Ponchatoula, LA. As an adult, Thelma worked as a Nurse’s Assistant.  She married William “Bill” Wade.

Thelma is preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Margurite Williams; one sister, Patricia Green, and two brothers, Leroy Williams Jr. and Jackie Williams.

Thelma leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Michael Hoggatt Jr.; four sisters, Peggy W. Grandpre and husband, Winfred, Pauline Nealy, Sarah Williams and Charlotte Williams; three brothers, James Williams, Roger Williams and wife, Yolanda and Dwayne Williams; three grandsons, Michael Hoggatt III, Kyson and Jeremiah; three granddaughters, A’Mya Hoggatt, Regan and Ryan; one great-granddaughter, Kaleigh Hoggatt; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
