WOODVILLE — Services for Elmo Ross, Sr., 93, also known to many as “Butnu” will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Magnolia Baptist Church, 190 Church Drive, Woodville, MS. Body will lie in repose one hour before service. Burial to follow in Cedar Rest Cemetery in Woodville, MS under the direction of D. Rollins Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024, at D. Rollins Funeral Home, 409 Sligo Street, Woodville, MS 39669 from 4 until 6 p.m.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his children, Rosetta (Johnnie) Scott of Dallas, TX, Elmo Ross, Jr. and Louise Brown of Woodville, MS, Linda Ross of Frisco, TX, and Patricia (Sam) Booker of Natchez, MS; 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and relatives to carry on his legacy.
