NATCHEZ — The Natchez Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade has been cancelled for today.
Parade coordinator Jacqueline Marsaw said the parade committee hopes to reschedule it for a warmer date in the near future.
The Natchez area is under three winter weather advisories. The first, a winter weather advisory, is in effect until Tuesday at 6 a.m. Another, a wind chill advisory is in effect from 6 p.m. today until noon on Tuesday. The third is a hard freeze warning in effect from 6 p.m. today to 8 a.m. on Jan. 17.
