NATCHEZ – Mr. Donald “Twin” Smith, 55, of Natchez, MS passed away on Dec. 19, 2023, at Merit Health Hospital. Visitation will be held from 4 until 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 29, 2023, at Webb Winfield Funeral Home. Balloon Release will be immediately following on the corner of Brenham Ave. and Minor Street. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. on Dec. 30, 2023, at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church under the direction of Webb Winfield Funeral Home with Pastor Melvin White officiating. Interment will be immediately following at the Grove Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rosa Lee Owens and Solomon Watson; his maternal grandparents; paternal grandfather; paternal grandmother, Josephine Tule Watson; his godmother, Jessie Proby; one brother, Harry Smith; two sisters, Greta Smith and Ester Owens; five aunts, Sarah Watson, Agnes Harris, Josephine Watson, Julia Watson, Rosa Watson-Lewis and Evelyn Mayes; one cousin, Marvin Watson, Sr.; two nieces, Rosa Lee Owens, and Tyshia Smith-Simmons; one special niece, LaQuita Owens; and one father-in-law, Lucian Dotson.
He leaves to cherish his memories of being a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan, his loving and devoted wife of 20 years, Denise Jackson Smith; three sons, Stephen Thomas Jr., Kedrian and Kelvon White; his twin and devoted brother, Ronald “Bop” Smith, Jerry Smith (Stephanie); one granddaughter, Chynna White; two sisters, Frankie Smith and Dorothy Crumbly (Lionel); two aunts, Mabel King and Mosetta Howard; four godchildren, Alexia Tyler, Louis Spiller Jr., Zach Robinson, Jr., and Devonte “Duke” Swayze; his mother-in-law, Jackie Dotson; his father-in-law, Edward Conner Sr. (Brenda); five sisters-in-law, Tangela Jones Hawthorne, Linda Jackson Rabb, Sharlotte Dotson Smith (Cleve), Katrina Dotson, LaChina Dotson Hardin (Brandon), Renea Dotson; seven brothers-in-law, Edward Conner Jr. (Gwen), Vincent Ross, Lorenzo Rogers, Kevin Harris, Terrance Conner, Tremaine Mitchell and Travis Conner, Sr., and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
