Funeral Services for Joye Denny,85 of Vidalia, LA who died Friday, December 15, 2023, will be 2 p.m. Monday, December 18, 2023. at First Baptist Church, Vidalia, LA.

Visitation will be 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. Monday, December 18, 2023, at First Baptist Church, Vidalia, LA.

Graveside service will follow at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Mrs. Denny was preceded in death by parents, Willard Lee and Bessie Mae Jones; two sisters, Alice Ruth Ratcliff and Sarita Marilyn Nielsen; two brothers, Willard Lee Jones, Jr. and Leslie Eugene Jones; one son Jay Reginald “Bucky” Denny, Jr.; father-in-law, Lewis Jay Denny; and mother-in-law Lois “Bobba” Atkins Denny.

Survivors include her husband, Jay Reginald “Buck” Denny; daughters Lynda Anderson and husband Dennis of Vidalia, LA., Loyce Marchbanks and husband David of Vidalia, LA., Lisa Rotolo and husband David of Oxford, MS.; brother Melvin Jones and wife Patt of Augusta, GA., and sister Cathy Metz and husband Buddy of Ward, Ark.; grandchildren, Josh Anderson, Jordan Anderson, Meghan Bush, Matthew Marchbanks, Hannah Claire McCullough, Sarah Beth Neaville; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Josh Anderson, Jordan Anderson, Matthew Marchbanks, Steven Bush, Wesley McCullough and Trace Neaville.

Honorary pallbearers will be Lee Falkenheiner, Lee Best, Wayne Coyle, Kyle Holzhalb, and Charles Stephens.
