VIDALIA, La. — A 63-year-old Monterey man was recently arrested for allegedly making a juvenile pay for drugs with sex.
According to a news release from Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office, detectives responded to a call from Trinity Medical Center Friday where a child was being treated for a possible drug overdose.
After interviewing the child, they learned that the evening prior the child was provided an unknown type of pill by an adult, later identified as Michael Halford, 63, from Monterey.
Halford allegedly asked the child to pay him for the drug with sexual activity.
