Funeral services for George Garrison, 71, of Birmingham, AL, formerly of Ferriday, LA will be held Friday, Dec. 8, 2023, at 10 a.m. from St. Stephens Baptist Church in Vidalia, LA. Burial will follow at the Vidalia Cemetery under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday.

Mr. Garrison died at his daughter’s home in Birmingham.

He is survived by his two children, Valerie Garrison of Birmingham and Veronica Stevenson (Robert) of Nashville, TN; two sisters, Viola Robinson of Dallas, TX and Annette Garrison of Ferriday; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son, Fred Hagans and a sister, Hattie Mae Garrison.
