NATCHEZ — Private funeral services for Mary Dixon, 71, of Natchez, who passed away on December 1, 2023, will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at the Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Natchez at 1 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Baldwin officiating under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home. Visitation services will be held from 11 a.m. until the service time. Interment will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery. At the request of the family, all services – visitation and funeral – are private and will not be open to the public.

Mary was born on January 19, 1952, in Natchez, to Eugenia Woods Lewis and Henry Ford.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leandro Dixon Jr.; one son, Jeremy Dixon; one daughter, Toya L. Dixon; and one sister, Jennifer Lewis.

Mary leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Sonya Woods; one son, Leandro Dixon III; daughter-in-law, Keysha Dixon; four grandsons: Jacarri Woods, Leandro Dixon IV, LeDamion Dixon, and Leandre Dixon; one granddaughter, So’Niya Thompson; and two sisters, Frankie (Jerome Sr.) Lyles and Andrea Lewis and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
