MONTEREY – Graveside memorial service for Misty Ann Davis, 44, of Houston, TX will be held at Eva Pentecostal Church in Monterey, LA on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023, at 1 p.m. with Rev. Tyler Stevinson officiating, under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Misty was born on Thursday, April 5, 1979, in Natchez, MS, and passed away on Thursday, Nov. 16, 2023, in Houston, TX. She is leaving behind a void that can never be filled. Misty was a beacon of love and joy and was taken from us too soon. Her boundless affection was most evident in her unwavering love for her children. A vivacious spirit, she was a constant source of fun, filling every room with laughter and warmth. Misty’s love extended beyond her family to include her beloved animals, each one a testament to her compassionate and nurturing heart. In the wake of her departure, we remember Misty as a woman whose love knew no bounds, a bright light extinguished too early. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the love she shared and the joy she brought into our lives.

She is preceded in death by her father, Alvin Ray Davis.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Kain Jackson of Colorado, Rayven Wallace, of Ferriday, LA, Braxton Jallah, of Houston, TX; granddaughter, Heather Jackson; mother, Darlene Davis, of Eunice, LA; brothers, Jessie Davis and his wife, Kathleen of Lafayette, LA and James Paul Owens of Monroe, LA; and a host of nieces and nephews.
