NATCHEZ — On Thursday, detectives from the Concordia Parish and Adams County Sheriff’s offices arrested a Natchez man they identified as a suspect of illegal online activity that involved sexual dialogue with a juvenile.

The CPSO Cyber Crime Unit began investigating the man later identified as Adams T. Perritt, 26, after he allegedly made contact with a minor online for sexual purposes.

During the conversations, he engaged in lewd sexual dialogue and discussed plans to meet the juvenile. After investigators identified Perritt, he was taken into custody without incident and has been booked into the CPSO jail.

Perritt has been charged with computer-aided solicitation of a minor and indecent behavior with juveniles.

Anyone arrested is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
