VIDALIA, La. — Both a Natchez and Fayette man are behind bars for allegedly contacting minors online and engaging in lewd conversations, according to a news release from Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office.
The Fayette man, identified as Dayquan Banks, 24, reportedly arranged to meet a minor in the online chats when he was taken into custody instead at their planned meeting place.
Investigators identified the Natchez man as Richard Dylan Collier, 21, and CPSO detectives assisted by Adams County Sheriff’s Office arrested him at his residence earlier this week without incident.
He allegedly sent the child sexually explicit photos of himself and requested the same in return.
Sheriff David Hedrick thanked Sheriff Travis Patten and ACSO detectives for their assistance in this matter.
Collier is charged with indecent behavior with juveniles and computer-aided solicitation of a minor. Banks also faces an indecent behavior with juveniles charge.
Anyone arrested is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
