VIDALIA — The Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest of the person allegedly responsible for a weekend shooting that sent one man to the hospital.
Nicholas Warner, 31, 262 Concordia Park, turned himself into CPSO officials Monday and was charged with attempted first-degree murder, domestic violence, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and illegal use of a weapon.
According to witness reports, Warner had been in an argument early Sunday morning with his stepfather, 46-year-old Paul Longmire, prior to the shooting.
After the argument, Longmire was reportedly grazed in the neck area by a bullet fired from a handgun.
Longmire was treated at an area hospital and released.
