Natchez — From 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Mike Windham of Brookhaven will be at Turning Pages Books & More on Franklin Street in Natchez to sign copies of his newly released book of humorous short stories, David Earl’s ABC’s (Adventure, Beer, and Characters).

In this book of fifty short stories you will meet David Earl Faulkner, a fifty-something college-educated businessman with a wonderful wife and well adjusted kids.

But his judgment isn’t always that great. He buys a strip club on a whim, invents a brassiere designed to sneak beer into college football games, argues with a forestry student about which side of a tree in officially the front and talks his way into a colonoscopy and an endoscopy during the same doctor visit.
