Celebrate 50 years with Pleasant Acre

The celebration goes on! As the Adams County Association for Retarded Children/Pleasant Acre Day School celebrates its golden jubilee year, many exciting events continue.

The Pleasant Acre kids have just returned from their fun in the sun trip to Biloxi. While celebrating the first return to the Coast since Hurricane Katrina, each student experienced the excitement and enjoyment of the white sand, foaming waves, swimming, delicious seafood and other highlights of the beach.

On behalf of the special students of Pleasant Acre, we thank each of you who have supported our commemorative booklet by purchasing an ad of congratulations or a placement on our patron’s page. The proceeds provided them a delightful vacation.

Our celebration will continue with an open house birthday party at our little red brick building in Liberty Park when school resumes in September.

The distribution of our 50-year commemorative booklet highlighting the past 50 years will be made at this time.

We invite the Miss-Lou to join us in this celebration.

There is still time for you to be a part of our commemorative booklet.

Our mailing address is P.O. Box 1362, Natchez, MS 39121. We are proud to be a part of the Miss-Lou Community by providing programs of life skills, life enrichment, self-help and respite for the trainable mentally challenged.

We are also grateful for the support and acceptance our organization has received for 50 years.

Thanks for fun, thanks for smiles and thanks for being friends.

Mary Ann Foggo-Eidt is the director of Pleasant Acre Day School.
