ROXIE — Graveside services for Luberta “Cat” Jones, 64, of Roxie, MS, who passed away on June 24, 2020, will be held on Friday, July 3, 2020, at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery at 11 a.m. with visitation from 10:30 a.m. until service time at the cemetery officiated by Rev. Carl Johnson under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
A walk-through wake service will be held on Thursday, July 2, at the Lighthouse Center in Meadville, MS, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Luberta was born on July 3, 1955, in Natchez, MS, to C.O. and LeEtta Jones.
She was a faithful member and supporter of the NAACP.
She is preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Betty Winfield; aunts and uncles.
Luberta leaves to cherish her memories her sister, Gloria Bonds; nephews: Greg (Lavelle) Bonds and Theron Bonds of Ponchatoula, LA, Dexter Bonds of Hamburg, MS, and Jacient Winfield of Fort Bragg, NC; two nieces, Tiffany Bonds of Ponchatoula, LA, and Taylor Winfield of Denver, CO; special cousin/caregiver, Patricia Brown; and a host of cousins and close friends.
