NATCHEZ — Graveside funeral services for Mary Ella Gales, 70, of Fayette, MS, who passed away in Jackson, MS, on June 11, 2020, will be held on Friday, June 19, 2020, at Hollywood Baptist Church Cemetery, at 10 a.m. with burial immediately following officiated by Bishop Willie Ellis under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Mary was born on May 7, 1949, in Fayette, MS, to James and Lucinda Gales.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Phipps; parents; and siblings: Blanche Cannon, Acy Gales, and Ronnie Gales.

Mary leaves to cherish her memories her brothers, Robert (Stella) Gales of Fayette, MS, and Frank Gales of Killeen, TX; one sister, Angelia (Ronnie) Hampton of Batesville, AR; two godsons, Xavier Hall and Xavier Hall II; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
