The Mississippi State Department of Health on Sunday is reported 236 new cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 6 new deaths. Mississippi’s total of COVID-19 cases since March 11 now stands at 17,270 with 817 deaths.

Adams County now has 204 total confirmed COVID-19 cases and the county’s death toll remains at 16 with nine deaths and 43 cases in long term care facilities.

Statewide, there are now 113 active outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities (where an outbreak is one or more cases among residents or staff).
