natchez — The children at Kyle’s House daycare have been busy with a number of fun activities this summer.

These include bowling, watching local performances and preparing for the Fourth of July family picnic.

One activity the children have enjoyed more than most is creating a garden that they, along with volunteer Ed Henry, planted.

The supplies for the garden were donated by Kyle’s House. The children used the supplies to plant tomatoes, cucumbers and squash.

They have learned the importance of tending to the garden in order to help the plants grow. Recently, the kids were able to harvest their crop.

Kyle’s House is a daycare for children, from newborns to 11-years-old. Though it is open to all children, the staff is trained to care specifically for special needs chilldren.

Kyle’s House is located at 19 Ridgeway Road in Natchez. For more information, call Naomi Henry at 601-446-8383
