NATCHEZ — Samuel “Sammy” Earl Singleton was born June 6, 1958, to the late Earl Champ and the late Ruby Lee Singleton. He departed this life on May 15, 2020. Sammy accepted Christ as his personal savior at Greater St. Mark Baptist Church. He was a graduate of North Natchez High School class of 1976. On October 4, 1980, he married Angela, and they had two children. He was a self-employed painter. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, niece Kiana, and father-in-law Joseph Hall. He leaves to cherish his memories, a daughter, Kimberly Singleton and son, Sam Jr. (Chandra) Singleton; Five grandchildren, Kya, Kamron, Claye, Paris, and Pashance; one sister, Renee (Isaac) Strickland; two brothers, Larry (Rhonda) Singleton and James (Candi) Singleton, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. A walk-through visitation took place Tuesday, May 19, 2020, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Webb/Winfield Funeral Home, 7 St. Catherine Street in Natchez. There will be a private burial on Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at Greater St. Mark Baptist Church Cemetery.
