Concordia Parish reports three new COVID-19 cases, second death Monday

Concordia Parish Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Preparedness is reporting a second death and three new cases of COVID-19 in Concordia Parish on Monday for a total of 35 reported cases in the parish.
The parish’s second death was reported on Sunday, April 12, and no further details in the death are available.
Demographics in the parish’s 35 cases include five Caucasians; 30 African Americans; 22 females; 12 males and two deaths.
Twenty nine patients are quarantined at home for 14 days, two are hospitalized in Rapides Parish and one is in isolation in a long-term care facility outside of Concordia Parish. The statuses of three patients are unknown.
The youngest patient is 20 and the oldest is 86.
The latest three cases are A 57-year-old black female, an 85-year-old black male and a 42 year old black male.
