MEADVILLE — Services for Mr. Agin Karim “Gene” Muhammad, 80, of Roxie, MS, who passed on March 9, 2020, at Merit Health Natchez, will be held graveside at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 15, 2020, at the Higdon Community Cemetery with Rev. Abram Muhammed officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.
A reflection service will be held Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Lighthouse Center in Meadville. Viewing will be from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. and reflections will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a final viewing.
Mr. Muhammed was born Aug. 13, 1939, in Memphis, Tennessee to Fonzie and Ora Mae Milam Walton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, George and Bird Ann Walton; infant son, Gene; one grandson Ahmad.
He is survived by a loving and devoted wife, Ruthie Lee Booker Muhammad; one son, Carlton Booker and his wife Teresa; four daughters, Alicia and husband Charles, Alyse (Richard), Darice and Ayesha; one granddaughter, Carla and husband Mike; two grandsons, Emmanuel Muhammad and Charles “CJ” Hunt II; three great-granddaughters, Jasmine, Haley and Kimora; four great-grandsons, Joshua, Josiah, Jermiah and Emmanuel “E. J.” Jr.; one sister, Evelyn Owens; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
