NATCHEZ — Tuesday’s regularly scheduled meetings of the Natchez Mayor and Board of Aldermen have been postponed until Wednesday morning while two Aldermen are away at the National League of Cities summit in Washington, D.C., officials said.
City of Natchez Administrative Assistant Pam Patterson sent an electronic notice Monday afternoon, which stated that Tuesday’s finance and regular board meetings have been postponed due to lack of quorum.
Patterson said aldermen Joyce Arceneaux-Mathis and Felicia Irving are attending the annual conference in Washington, D.C., and a third alderman has a family emergency.
Patterson said there would be a special-called meeting at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 11, in place of the regularly scheduled meetings.
