NATCHEZ — Funeral services for Wanda Faye Lloyd Carter, 68, of Ferriday, who died on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2020, at Merit Health will be on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at 11 a.m. at George F. West Sr. Memorial Chapel at West Gate Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Carter Jr. officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.
Wanda was born Feb. 18, 1952, in Natchez, the daughter of Tommy Lloyd, Jr. and Lillie Mae Deleho. She attended Sevier High School and Northeast State University. Wanda was a retired town clerk. She enjoyed reading harlequin romance novels, watching murder mysteries, the food network and HGTV.
She is preceded in death by her parents; grandmother, Ethel Lloyd; special aunt, Odeal Montgomery and sister, Tanya Smith Collins.
Wanda leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters, Monica Carter and Shuntyal Carter; grandsons, Ramon Carter and Trey’on Carter; granddaughter, Haley Carter; two brothers, Tommy Lloyd III and wife Ivy and Darrinton Smith; seven sisters, Debra Burns and husband Darryl, Cynthia Roberson and husband Larry, Pamela Harris and husband Edward, Carla Lloyd, Sunda Young and husband Greg, Dr. Tiffany Bullock and husband Harry and Nichelle Payne, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
