Spring is one of the busiest times of the year for the Natchez Garden Club. Kay Taylor and Mary Lessley joined other Natchez Garden Club members Thursday in preparing silent auction items for this weekend’s Magnolia Ball at Magnolia Hall. The ball will start at 6 p.m. Saturday. All proceeds benefit Preservation Society of Ellicott‘s Hill. Tickets are available at www.natchez garden club.org. In addition to making preparations for the gala, members of other various committees such as the candlelight dinner team and the Spring Pilgrimage Tableaux committee prepare for visitors during the tourist season.
