In practices to prepare for Rayville, Robert Sanders, Vidalia High Vikings head coach, said Vidalia needs to work on man-press offense.
“We’re going to try and limit Rayville’s possessions,” Sanders said. “It has been a hard task all year against other teams. We’re going to keep pounding into their heads that the fewer times the Hornets have the ball, the fewer times they will score.”
For the past three weeks, Jashun Gordon has been out with a leg injury on Jan. 18. Sanders said Gordon is one of his veteran players.
Tip off is at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Vidalia High School.
