BATON ROUGE— A Celebration of Life service for Moses Lemon Jr., 71, of Baton Rouge, who died peacefully at his residence, Saturday, Jan. 18, 2020, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Winnfield Funeral Home Chapel, 7221 Plank Road in Baton Rouge.  

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Arrangements are under the direction of Winnfield Funeral Home.

Mr. Lemon was born in Natchez and was a resident of Baton Rouge for 50 years.

He was a retired truck driver and a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include his devoted wife of 48 years, Anita Lemon; one son, Gary Lemon; one daughter, Caprice Carter and husband, Clifton; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, all of Baton Rouge; one brother, Johnny Lemon of Natchez; and a number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
