WISNER, Louisiana — Services for Shelby Donn Ensminger Sr., 86, of Vidalia, who died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2020, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at South Central Church in Wisner, Louisiana, with the Rev. Keith Dowen officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from noon until service time Wednesday at the church.

Mr. Ensminger was born April 2, 1933, in Louisiana, the son of Louis Cowart and Willie Mae Ensminger.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Roger Ensminger; and one sister, Bobbie Hoggett.

Survivors include two sons, Shelby Ensminger Jr. and wife, Lorri, and Craig Ensminger and wife, Renee; two daughters, Sandra Powell and husband, Mike, and Crystal Markins; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one sister, Linda Wilks; and special friends, Judy Myers Lindsey and Noah Myers.

Pallbearers will be Craig Ensminger, Lenny Landry, Noah Myers, Randy Hoggett, Damon Workmen, Trey Ensminger and Chris Ensminger.
