MONTEREY — Services for Anita Crouch Poole, 89, who died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020, at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, La., will be 10 a.m. today at Eva Church of God in Monterey, with the Rev. Lloyd Trisler officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home in Alexandria.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until service time today at the church.
Mrs. Poole was preceded in death by her husband, Brunston Edgar Poole and two daughters-in-law, Mary Money Poole and Alma Cox Poole.
Those left to cherish her memory include five sons, Eddie Dwain Poole, Ronald Roy Poole and wife, Bernice, Gregory Kevin Poole and Timothy Phillip Poole and wife, Patricia, all of Monterey, and Charles Galen Poole and wife, June, of Monroe, Louisiana; one daughter, Melba Pugh and husband, Joe, of Trout, Louisiana; 15 grandchildren, Patrick Poole, Jan Bryant, Johanna Pugh Bridges, Brandi Pugh Poole, Jarred Pugh, Charla Poole, Caleb Poole, Ron Poole, Robert Poole, Kevin Poole, Jimmy Poole, Jessie Poole, Alanna Poole, Rebecca Smading and Sam Martin; 30 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Alene Crouch White of Mayna, Louisiana; and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be Patrick Poole, Jarred Pugh, Caleb Poole, Ron Poole, Robert Poole, Kevin Poole, Jimmy Poole, Jessie Poole and Benjamin Poole.
Honorary pallbearers will be Andy Anders, Sam Martin, Tommy Lewis Crouch, Lane Dale, Jeff Wyatt and Buddy Tiffee.
Special thanks to Sabrina Davis and Ouida Halford, caregivers, 6th floor staff of Rapides Regional Medical Center and St. Joseph’s Hospice.
