NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Felton Middleton, 71, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2019, in Jackson, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Rehoboth Church of God in Christ Cemetery in Sibley with Superintendent Willie Clark Jr. officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.
Mr. Middleton was born Aug. 28, 1948, in Meadville, the son of Woodrow Middleton and Bonnie Ray Harris Middleton.
He attended Lillie Mae Bryant High School in Meadville and was retired from C&J Timber-Powe Brother-Timber. Felton was a member of East Roxie Church of Christ. He enjoyed grilling and watching westerns.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Abe and Luvada Harris and Adam and Elizabeth Middleton; one sister, Betty Coleman; and two brothers, Otis Middleton and Charlie Brooks.
Survivors include his wife, Joann Lyles Middleton; two sons, Brad Lyles and Kiser Lyles; one daughter, Porsche Lyles-Gray and husband, Juan; four special nieces, Joyce Wilson, Tabatha Middleton, Anna Middleton, and Monica Watson (who he helped to raise); three brothers, America Chuck Middleton and wife, Shirley, A.B. Middleton and Lovie Middleton; one sister, Wilma Hall and husband, James; eight grandchildren, Rashad Arbuthnot, Brad Lyles Jr., Marley Gray, Darius Lyles, Lakin Gray, Braylon Lyles, Kently Lyles and Peyton Gray; and other relatives and friends.
