Christmas is full of fun, including family get-togethers, parties, parades, gift exchanges and visits with Santa.
Not to be overlooked, however, are many great shows and programs featuring Christmas songs, music and dancing.
“The Nutcracker” has been performed and several special musicals have already been presented in the Miss-Lou throughout this Christmas season.
Tonight, we have another chance to experience a special musical event as the Natchez Adams School District presents its Christmas show titled “It’s Christmas.”
Under the direction of the talented Tony Fields, students from music departments in schools throughout the Natchez Adams School District have been practicing for months to bring this show together.
The show will feature string, choral and band performers from elementary through high schools, and Fields promises the show will feature some dynamic soloists as well.
It is sure to be a must-see Christmas event.
We encourage everyone to go out and enjoy the show these students and the school district have worked so hard to present.
The free show, which NASD Superintendent Fred Butcher said is a Christmas gift to the community from the schools, will be presented at 6 tonight at the Natchez City Auditorium at 207 Jefferson St., Natchez.
Thanks, NASD for bringing us “It’s Christmas.”
