Ferriday High Trojans leave for New Orleans

FERRIDAY — Ferriday High Trojans fans and others can wave goodbye to the Trojans at 8 a.m. today as the team leaves for New Orleans.
The Ferriday High Trojans will practice in New Orleans on Wednesday and Thursday before playing in the Louisiana High School Athletics Association Class 2A state championship game at 3:30 p.m. Friday against the Many High School Tigers.
Ferriday High Principal Kimberly Jackson said cars would be lined on EE Wallace Boulevard toward Vidalia.
After going through Vidalia, the Trojans bus will travel through Natchez to U.S. Highway 98 towards McComb.
After going through McComb, the Trojans bus will drive onto Interstate 55 toward the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.
